Hesslebach: Care and Use

At Hesslebach, we pride ourselves on crafting the world's healthiest and safest cookware. To ensure your Hesslebach products last a lifetime and maintain their exceptional performance, follow these care and use guidelines.

Before First Use

  1. Unpack and Rinse: Remove all packaging materials, labels, and stickers. Wash the cookware in warm, soapy water. Rinse and dry thoroughly.

  2. Conditioning: Although our PuraCotta™ ceramic coating is non-stick, we recommend lightly rubbing the interior with cooking oil before the first use to condition it.

Cooking Tips

  1. Low to Medium Heat: PuraSteel™ ensures fast and even heating. Start cooking on a low to medium heat and increase if necessary. This protects the PuraCotta™ coating and preserves its non-stick properties.

  2. Utensils: Use wooden, silicone, or heat-resistant plastic utensils to prevent scratching the PuraCotta™ surface. Avoid using sharp instruments or metal utensils.

  3. Oils and Fats: You can use less oil due to our non-stick surface, but if you choose to use oil, always heat it gradually.

Cleaning Your Hesslebach Cookware

  1. Cool Down: Always allow your cookware to cool down before cleaning.

  2. Hand Wash: While Hesslebach cookware is durable, we recommend hand washing with warm, soapy water and a soft cloth or sponge to maintain its pristine condition.

  3. Avoid Abrasives: Do not use steel wool, scouring pads, or abrasive cleaners, as they can damage the PuraCotta™ coating.

  4. Stains: If there are food residues, soak the cookware in warm, soapy water for 15-20 minutes before washing.

Storage

  1. Dry Thoroughly: Ensure your cookware is completely dry before storing to maintain its longevity.

  2. Stacking: If stacking your Hesslebach cookware, place a soft cloth between each item to prevent scratching.

Special Features

  1. Screw-Free Lid: Our innovative design eliminates screws on the bottom of the lid, preventing rust and food buildup. This ensures a healthier cooking experience and easier cleaning.

  2. PuraSteel™ and PuraCotta™: These unique materials require minimal maintenance. They do not rust, corrode, or retain food odors, ensuring a fresh cooking experience every time.

General Tips

  1. Avoid Overheating: Never leave cookware on a high heat or allow it to boil dry.

  2. Oven Use: Hesslebach cookware is oven safe, but always use oven mitts or gloves when handling.

  3. Induction Stovetops: Thanks to PuraSteel™, our cookware is compatible with all heat sources, including induction stovetops.
